John, a student of the ISG has decided to promote the Kiva initiative, as it has been in a decline in the past years. To do this he is advocating for Kiva. But what is Kiva?
Kiva is a pioneering non-profit organization that facilitates microfinance loans to empower individuals around the world. Founded in 2005, Kiva operates on a unique crowdfunding model where individuals can lend as little as 25 US Dollars to entrepreneurs in need, particularly in developing countries. This platform connects lenders with borrowers, enabling financial inclusion and fostering economic opportunities for those who lack access to traditional banking systems. Kiva's mission revolves around the belief that small acts of lending can create significant impacts in alleviating poverty and promoting entrepreneurship. My perspnal misson, as well as my CAS project, is to draw as much awareness to the school kiva account as possible. In addition to this, I have made several donations on behalf of the school to restart the influence of the ISG on the platform.
