The Model United Nations has been an event run internally by DP students at ISG for about 3 years now. But what is the MUN? It is an educational model made by the United Nations with the goal of teaching students about diplomacy and international relations. It is a simulation in which you assume the role of delegate for the country that you are representing. Other roles are also possible, but being a delegate is most common. Through this experience you can learn a lot about ongoing world events and how countries cooperate with each other on a global scale. In this experience you will learn how to write position papers, resolutions and successfuly debate with other participants to properly represent the opinion of the country that you are representing.
